Rowan Class Quay Arts Workshop

 Year 2 were treated to a workshop held by Teresa, a local artist part of of Quay Arts. Together, we read a book all about a boy who dreamt about being an architect. We then drew our dream building on a luggage label and had a go at making our very own ‘dream town’. What a wonderful experience, thank you so much to Teresa and Quay Arts for making this opportunity possible.

We love to recap prior learning through the challenges. This week we have explored number bonds to 10, using tricky words to create sentences, making shapes with peg boards, thinking about animals and their habitats and a variety of construction challenges.
