In Rowan class, the children have been creating some lovely mono prints inspired by the artist Xgaoc’o X’are. The children enjoyed using charcoal paper to create their prints.
This week, we had our final Geography lesson about the United Kingdom. As a fun challenge, we used play dough to model the four countries of the UK, carefully shaping each one and placing flags with the name of the country and its capital city.
This week in Art we drew some beautiful African animals inspired by our artist Xgaoc’o X’are. We traced them from our books onto tracing paper ready for our lesson on printing next week.
