Rowan Class Nature Zones Talk

Year 2 welcomed Diana from Nature Zones this afternoon. Diana spoke to the children about a variety of flowers, how they differ and their special characteristics. The children listened well and asked some great questions during the session.

Chestnut class have been working hard to complete a variety of different challenges around the classroom. Each week they have maths, writing, funky fingers, phonics, art and construction challenges. We love to recap prior learning through the challenges. This week we have explored number bonds to 10, using tricky words to create sentences, making shapes with peg boards, thinking about animals and their habitats and a variety of construction challenges.
