Rowan Class English



























 In English, we have been reading ‘The Big Book of the Blue’, a fantastic non fiction book which dives deep into the underwater world. From this, Rowan class have created their own ‘Little Book of the Blue’, The children designed their own front cover and blurbs, a contents page and pages filled with facts about their favourite animals.

Chestnut class have been working hard to complete a variety of different challenges around the classroom. Each week they have maths, writing, funky fingers, phonics, art and construction challenges. We love to recap prior learning through the challenges. This week we have explored number bonds to 10, using tricky words to create sentences, making shapes with peg boards, thinking about animals and their habitats and a variety of construction challenges.
