World Book Day 2026 📕📚

 We had a fantastic World Book Day in Chestnut class, we explored the book ‘Who Ate Steve’ we went on a worm hunt and bought them back to safety. We created lost posters to help us find Steve and we made clay worms. As well as all of these activities we created book marks based on our characters and enjoyed many stories. 

Thank you to the parents who joined us on Monday afternoon to share a story with their child we had a great afternoon ☺️📚✨⭐️

We love to recap prior learning through the challenges. This week we have explored number bonds to 10, using tricky words to create sentences, making shapes with peg boards, thinking about animals and their habitats and a variety of construction challenges.
