Willow class DT

In Willow class this week, the children have been learning all about wheels, axles and chassis. The children had great fun in creating their own  - a wheely good lesson! William also taught us about the different properties of a fire engine!

Chestnut class have been working hard to complete a variety of different challenges around the classroom. Each week they have maths, writing, funky fingers, phonics, art and construction challenges. We love to recap prior learning through the challenges. This week we have explored number bonds to 10, using tricky words to create sentences, making shapes with peg boards, thinking about animals and their habitats and a variety of construction challenges. Welcome back Year 2
