Rowan Class English

 In English this week we have started to read our class text ‘Leo and the Octopus’. From this, the children have been exploring the character of Leo and have been thinking about their emotions. The children had a great time of acting out different emotions for their partners to guess.

Chestnut class have been working hard to complete a variety of different challenges around the classroom. Each week they have maths, writing, funky fingers, phonics, art and construction challenges. We love to recap prior learning through the challenges. This week we have explored number bonds to 10, using tricky words to create sentences, making shapes with peg boards, thinking about animals and their habitats and a variety of construction challenges. Welcome back Year 2
