 On Thursday afternoon, the children had a lovely time sketching, focusing on line, shape and space. The children drew inspiration from the natural world. A lovely afternoon had by all.

Chestnut class have been working hard to complete a variety of different challenges around the classroom. Each week they have maths, writing, funky fingers, phonics, art and construction challenges. We love to recap prior learning through the challenges. This week we have explored number bonds to 10, using tricky words to create sentences, making shapes with peg boards, thinking about animals and their habitats and a variety of construction challenges.
